Lumberjack Tasting Trail

The Lumberjack Tasting Trail was created in honor of our lumber heritage. In 1805, David Litz was the first settler to run a raft of logs down the Susquehanna River. From 1840 to 1890, lumber proved the dominate industry with over 12 billion board feet of lumber cut during that time and an average of 2000 rafts making runs annually.
